I've just posted our review of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 pointing device. Here is a blurb from it: When Microsoft released the first optical mouse in 1998 the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer was a clear best seller with more than 5.5 millions of units sold worldwide. Granted, the concept of an optical mouse isn’t really new since Sun stations are provided with optical mice for decades. However, the fact Microsoft’s optical technology works on nearly every surface and doesn’t require any special mouse pad is new. Microsoft now presents a new version 3.0 of the IntelliMouse Explorer pointing device with some feature upgrades at the same time keeping the cost down for consumers. I have one of the older Intellimouse explorers that I got with Office XP. It's nice and I like it a lot, but I was playing with the new model in the stores and find it's a bit more comfortable and the thumb buttons are easier to use.
Been thinking about buying one and taking my old one into work to replace the crap logitech mouse I have there. |

You know what I don't understand? Why on Earth would Mac people come to a Windows site, and then post comments? What is that? And the same thing with all the linux dweebs? Why don't they got to their own community websites?
My Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 I guess is pretty good. After a lot of use my hand starts to cramp. I was thinking about picking another one up. Is this one the same shape? Any recommendations on an optical mouse that feels good after prolonged use? |

#10 put it as good as I can. "Many people use both Windows and MacOS. There are just computer systems, not religions or sexes... " I have three PC's running at home. Two Win2K Servers, and an XP Client Machine. At work, I have an IBM Desktop, and an IBM Laptop. I also have 4 Mac's. And have just ordered a new LCD iMac. It's not water and oil to everyone... TL |

I like the french screenshots, they make the website look l33t! :)
RedAvenger - I find the version 3.0 intellimouse to be much more form fitting than version 2.0. It has a slightly lower profile and fits the hand better. |
