NEW DELHI: Microsoft Corporation India has chalked out a mega expansion plan to enter the consumer digital mindspace with the launch of several consumer-centric products powered by its software. This includes the Windows Media Center 2005, digital music devices, smart phones, and educational software for the home user.
The company has outlined an ambitious retail strategy and will partner with over 500 retail centers in India within the next six months. It is part of a three-pronged strategy aimed at enabling the consumers to embrace a digital lifestyle enabled by Microsoft products, services and partnerships.
