| What kind of monitor is that? 28"? And the format? My one is 16 by 10 but is not so wide. it reminds me the old "cinerama" movies of the 50/60s. |

| This is bull! Its not a widescreen setup. Its simply a dual monitor setup with 2 1280x1024 monitors. You can see it because the Build number shows up twice on the background, and the clock on the taskbar is in the middle. Furthermore there are no screens at 2560x1028 that i know of. |

Thanks for the clarification guys.
Btw there are monitors capable of very high res although I don't think that, money aside, they would be good for gaming or desktop use. Look at this one: http://www.viewsonic.com/support/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/proseries/vp2290b/ If I remember correctly also IBM has something similar. |

| Interesting. Earlier today, other Bob posted the article and stated that James had provided the images. Now, James is credited as the poster and the images were provided to him. Oh and lookie there, rather than link to his user profile on AW he gets a free link to his blog. Gotta get me somma that. Make me a news publisher other Bob, I could use the Google juice! |

| AW Readers: No conspiracy here. Those are legitimate screenshots taken with dual 19" flat panel ACER monitors using two BFG 6800 Ultra Video cards. Each monitor was set to 1280x1024 but joined to act as a single monitor to be 1280*2. No Photoshop involved. Time to let it rest. |

| I said nothing about conspiracy. I only pointed out that its BULL that those are "widescreen" screenshots. Now the text has been changed without attributing this correction. Now THAT might be called a conspiracy by some. A CREDIBLE website corrects errors WITH attribution of what was corrected and when. A bad website just changes things and then pretends the word "widescreen" was never used. How stupid do you think we are? What would have been so bad about saying. Hey sorry, we made a mistake. the screenshots aren't widescreen but as tgnb pointed out they are simply those of a dual monitor setup. They certainly aren't "High Resolution" as the headline now states and they aren't Widescreen as the old headline/text stated. They are very simply dual screen screenshots. Whooptie doo! |
