Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told analysts Thursday that Microsoft is planning new, higher priced versions of both Windows and Office in the coming years as part of its effort to grow sales. Ballmer said on Thursday that the company will add both high-end desktop versions and new server options in the next versions of Windows and Office. Microsoft's chief executive made his comments at a company sponsored financial analyst conference. | ||

I agree n4cer, Windows XP cannot be the first version of Windows TechLarry is using, there is also upgrade versions available, you just need to own 98, NT, 2000, ME to be allowed to install it, and he must own one.
He could have also purchased an OEM Version with certified hardware for about $80 (Professional) Anyway, the Enterprise Edition of Vista seems like its going to marketed similar to Office Enterprise and XP VLK, not available through retail. |

latch, you must be the only customer that expects to find every new feature useful to them personally. That isn't a reasonable expectation.
Do you use that same criteria for everything you pay money for? No. |
