THPS 2x Preview

The animations on the skaters were perhaps the biggest graphical improvement. The transitions into and out of grinds look more natural. The bails are even harsher, as it looks like the skaters are interacting with the ground better (see: slamming hard). The trick animations were great in both THPS2 games, and even better here. In addition, they have added a nice motion blur that accents the speed of gameplay. Perhaps the best part of all is that the game runs smooth as silk. Even with several players in the same arena (connected on the show floor through a LAN), there was nary a drop in framerate.
