The weather's absolutely beautiful here in San Francisco but I blew the entire weekend in front of the computer (again) trying to figure out Apple's purported move to Intel. At first, it was just too hard to believe, and I dismissed it as nonsense, but two serious news organizations are reporting it as a done deal (News.com and WSJ), and on Sunday morning a couple of things fell into place making it look a lot more plausible. I guess Apple will move to Intel, and they're relying on a fast, seamless emulator to do it. | ||

| TL - Is IE w/SP2 not stopping the pop ups? Are you using any other software to prevent this? My suggestions are: Flashpeak's Slimbrowser and/or Norton Internet Security suite. |

Well, no. SP2 isn't blocking all of them.
And it sounds like a dog training clicker with all the one's it does block. And don't get me started on the Kill Kahn Ad which just now again showed it's ugly, NOISY face. This ad is totally unacceptable. |

| Yeah but have you got IE SP2's pop-up blocking setting to High? Cos if it's on Medium, then of course it won't block all pop-ups. As far as I know, Medium will block all pop-ups apart from user-initiated pop-ups. All the smart programmers who do the pop-ups have done is work out how to class a normal pop-up as user-initiated. From what I've seen, the pop-ups seem to come up when you scroll the screen. |
