Driving a fancy car in the virtual universe is nothing new. Game developers are fully aware of the potential pitfall when they roll out a new car racing title: Unless the game has truly innovative features, obsessive gamers may doze off. Few know the rule better than Michael Johnson, global product manager of Microsoft Game Studios, a unit of U.S.-based software giant Microsoft Corp. He is in charge of launching a new racing title named "Forza Motorsport" for the company's video game console Xbox.
