Today, Apple Computer released a new update to its popular iTunes music software. The new update, version 4.7.1, adds support to the new iPod shuffle and other improvements.
"This update also stops hackers from breaking into your computer if it is running a version of iTunes earlier than this update:
"With previous versions, the flaw could allow an attacker to inject more data into a particular memory location than the program could accommodate thereby allowing the attacker to take over a computer. "

LOL!
Leave it to Apple to come up with a warm-and-fuzzy way to describe the industry standard "Buffer Overflow".
Gotta love it :)

TechLarry: GREAT comment about the "warm and fuzzy" Apple description of buffer overflow!
But Phaedrus, you are aware that Windows is the ONLY OS that has such vulnerabilities right? Nix/Mac etc. are virus free and it is not possible to break these secure OS's.
