Chinese companies have dealt another blow to US-based software giant, Microsoft to win a lucrative 240,000 US dollar deal with the northern Chinese province of Shanxi. "It is another setback for the US software giant after a 3.5 million US dollar deal with the Beijing municipal government was cancelled late last month amid complaints that local governments are not buying enough domestically developed software," China daily reported.

No matter what, China is still a communist country. They want to have their cake and eat it too, with all of us paying the way for them.

h2f,
I am an American and have been all my life, and I love America. However, I agree with you on Bush's attempt to be an imperial democracy. I think it's horrible. I think we need to worry about ourselves and all the problems we have here in our own country before worrying about others.

Shocking.

AWBrian - "we need to worry about ourselves and all the problems we have here in our own country before worrying about others"
Brian, don't you understand that, taking your advice, we will NEVER, EVER help anyone but Americans. We are the richest, most financially blessed country on the planet. For us to just sit back and worry about our piddly (in comparison) problems would be the most selfish act imaginable. God blesses groups of people, only for finite periods of time. Lets not waste our abundance.

First, let me say, we needed to attack the Taliban and Osama. We have not rid the Taliban nor have we rid Osama. And to quote GWB, when asked where Osama was, he said he didn't care. GWB has failed. Iraq is yet another war, but one that shouldn't have happened. Don't tie the two wars together, cuz THAT would be wrong.
"Brian, don't you understand that, taking your advice, we will NEVER, EVER help anyone but Americans."
Good, we need to start sometime.
"We are the richest, most financially blessed country on the planet."
And the most in debt country on the planet.
"For us to just sit back and worry about our piddly (in comparison) problems would be the most selfish act imaginable. God blesses groups of people, only for finite periods of time. Lets not waste our abundance. "
Exactly, let's not waste our abundance. Let's fix our health care system, and make sure that the 40 million uninsured citizens can get healthcare. Let's help the millions of homeless people we have here in the "richest" country in the world. Let's find a way to reduce our high rate of murders and rape here in the U.S. Let's find a way to eliminate our incredible debt. Let's find a way to keep jobs here in the U.S.. Let's find a way strengthen our economy. Let's give our soldiers better armor (and in some cases, some don't even have it) so that they can finish what GWB started and get them home safely. There is so much wrong in the United States that needs to be addressed. And the last thing we need to do is go to war for NO REASON and spread GWB's Imperial Democracy beliefs on other countries.
Impeach GWB

" Saddam had already murdered 100's of thousands of Kurds and Shiites. "
And now all is better because GWB has already murdered 100's of thousands of iraqi's.
I like how that works in the mind of the right wingers.

Sorry, it's far from a success. GWB has killed over 100,000 Iraqi's....including innocent children. No matter how you spin it, THAT is wrong. Your definition of success is almost sickening. In fact, it is sickening. Killing innocent people and attacking a country who didn't threaten us (but we viewed them as a threat, and of course we were wrong as there were no WMDs...proven over and over and over). We have lost well over a thousand of our innocent soldiers for a wrong war. That is 1/3rd of the people we lost in 911!
The United States needs to STOP thinking they are the king of the world, and that the world must live by our rules. We have problems here in the states that we need to take care of. Horrible problems.
Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time.
I just love this:
The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him.
-- President George W. Bush, September 13, 2001.
I don't know where he [Osama] is and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority.
-- President George W. Bush, May 13, 2002.
Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations.
-- President George W. Bush, October, 13, 2004
And guess what, I am not a lefty. LOL!
And FWIW, I was in Desert Storm.

Parkker, you are wrong wrong wrong. Iraq CAN'T be a success when it was a failure already. It's a failure.
