Windows .NET Server Family Beta 3 Technical Overview

This document provides an overview of the improvements and features of Windows .NET Server Beta 3 release. Previously code-named "Whistler Server," the Windows .NET Server Family of products is the next generation in the Windows Server operating system series.

With "Whistler Server" Beta 1 and "Whistler Server" Beta 2, the fundamental groundwork for management, reliability, performance, security, and XML Web services improvements was established. Windows .NET Server Beta 3 builds on this foundation and also expands the Windows .NET Server feature library to include advanced collaboration technologies and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
