The vast majority of users will not upgrade to this service pack. Most users, even when they have broadband will not turn on Automatic Updates. Those that have it turned on by someone that set up their computer, by and large stop it from updating. Only when that computer stops functioning or slows down to a crawl is there some concern to perform updates.
Also, the vast majority that buy PCs get a 90-day anti-virus program and when the time runs out they don't buy a yearly subscription. Then, ditto, the above.
Most people are not any more interested in the above then they are how their air conditioner works in their home/car. It amounts to the same techno garble to them.
On the other hand, this update will be adopted by corporations over a very short time and slipstreamed into new computer image builds at corporations and for new computer buyers. For the former audience, most corporations have sufficient help desk staff to handle any burps. For the latter, the computer maker is usually the first line of defense and the call that is made first when a computer is not working properly out of the box and during its warranty period.
