Lindows will ultimately be a failure. The LindowsOS is to different (interface, applications, etc) for most Windows users to tolerate/live with. As far as Linux users are concerned, most of us tend to look down on Lindows as a 'newbie' Linux variant. Why bother using an OS that feels so limited (and incorporates some of the same 'features' that irk us about Windows) when we've got Fedora, Mandrake, SUSE, Slackware, etc, etc, etc??
If any Linux vendor has MS scared right now, it's got to be SUSE. With the Novell merger they are poised to offer Microsoft some serious competition.
