Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of legitimate uses of the pop-up window that would be broken.
The thing about the pop-up blockers that I've seen (I'm currently using the Google toolbar version) is that browsing still takes the same amount of time as if the pop-up had actually launched, which is my biggest gripe against pop-ups in the first place. |

Jeff: Eolas is working hard on that! :)
MSN 9 comes with a really nice pop-up blocker, and it evens hows a small thumbnail of the blocked window, which then slowly slides into nothingness, so you know you aren't missing a needed pop-up. bluvg: You can tell it to not block pop-ups from a certain page. The thing about pop-ups are they are just so annoying. Especially the pop-ups that open a new pop-up when you try to close it. |
