| I like the way these guys critize the bugs Microsoft products. Like they wouldn't write viruses if there was no bugs to exploit, and like they've never cobbled a chunk of buggy code. Just think of all the great software we'd have if all these morons would spend their time writing useful code, and possibly even training other to do the same. |

#1 Are you saying other "criminals" don't stand up for what they believe in? Maybe these "criminals" just see Microsoft offering bounties as a big joke, or more of a challenge! i.e. The FBI, Secret Service and Interpol can't catch them so it's up to Microsoft to offer some money!
#4 Are they morons in general or "morons" because they choose to write something which causes problems for others? I'd say that we are all quite lucky that the really talented coders out there aren't really pissed off and ready to attack back properly - otherwise we would see some real viruses out there doing some real damage rather than just a few basic send an email out viruses. #5 That conspiracy theory has been spread around for years now... there's still nothing to support it in the least! |

The "stand up for what they believe in" stuff was an ironic statement meant for amusement. Sorry you missed it. As far as law enforcement not being able to catch them, that's because law enforcement never offered $250,000 before. It's one thing to stand behind fellow hackers when "the man" is after them. It's an entirely different thing when somebody offers them more money than most of them would make in 5 years, and all they have to do is give up what they know about "L33tHax0r42". |
