Looks like mOOzilla isn't content with the vaporware to veneer-ware approach. Make it pretty first and hope that it all comes together later. We've seen this action path from Microsoft for 15 years. If Longhorn isn't "perfected" by the time it needs to be released to the public in 2006 for business reasons, guess what will happen? Profit before problem solving. Another buggy Windows is let loose while we are told to wait for the next verison to come out as it will solve all our OS problems. History repeats itself over and over at Microsoft. They have a business to run and a large part of it is based on product churn to maximize profits.
Apple does this also with OS X. Why aren't the OS X point releases free to users? More dollar$ coming in is why. |
