Microsoft Delivers First Rights-Management Component | |

Microsoft has made available for download the first of several components of its forthcoming stable of rights-management software. The Redmond software maker posted to its download center on Tuesday its rights-management client. The client runs atop Windows and is designed to allow rights-management-aware applications - like Office 2003 - to work with the forthcoming Windows Rights Management Services that will be layered on top of Windows Server 2003. | ||

Folks can't remember their email or network passwords for more than 3 months. This aughta be a blast...

| Using TL's logic we shouldn't have passwords for anything, afterall, we might forget them at some point and be locked out of our resources. Good thinking, "Tech" Larry. |

Yes and in his thinking he is 100% correct. Passwords are the weakest link to any security system. Thats where biometrics come in... |

I'd say the user is the weakest link, but I agree that good biometrics can solve many issues related to password usage. |

User's and passwords go hand in hand, afterall its the users who write them down because they can't remember them or give them out to other people or coworkers because they are gullable. |

You guys are going to think I am crazy(er) but...
I was testing out MSN9 beta and came to this site in it, and decided to open it up in Firebird because I like the tabbed browsing when reading news. So I open the page up in Firebird and I'm getting pages with 2 completely separate news articles on them. I've refreshed both. |
