It may be hard to believe. After years of struggling at the end of the food chain when it came to IT managers, Macs are on the verge of respectability.
As most of you know, InfoWorld is a weekly publication that caters to the IT professional. Some call them the enemy, because Macs are rarely specified for serious computing tasks, except for the usual concessions to the art department. Now we can, of course, blame that on the fact that an easy-to-configure computer might just keep them hanging out chomping on donuts rather than scurrying from PC to PC to fix various security leaks and system instabilities.
