Taiwanese Semi Company VIA said it will demonstrate a machine using its dual Opteron K8T800 chipset and running 64-bit Linux at Linux World Expo later today.
The machine will run MandrakeSoft 2.1 server operating system, VIA said.
The chipset has an AGP8X port, supports hypertransport and an integrated Serial ATA+RAID controller using the south bridge chip, the VT8237.
