Microsoft Corp. today announced the immediate availability of the new Windows® XP "Do Amazing Things" DVD, which shows consumers the amazing things they can do with the Windows XP operating system. The new DVD provides great bonus video content for playback on the PC, including the first high-definition versions of three short films from the BMW Films Series "The Hire," the full-length movie "The Living Sea" produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films Inc. for presentation in IMAX® Theatres, and coverage from Tony Hawk's "The Road to Boom Boom HuckJam." In addition, the DVD provides users of Windows XP with exciting software, including fun screen savers, PowerToys and a creativity kit for Windows Movie Maker 2.

Leading retailers including Amazon.com Inc. and CompUSA Inc. will offer the DVD free to customers with select purchases. Top PC manufacturer Gateway Inc. will offer the DVD through retail outlets. And starting today, consumers can order the "Do Amazing Things" DVD from the Microsoft® Web site, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/dvdrom/, for the cost of shipping and handling, starting at $2.99 (U.S.).
