On the strength of sales of Dead or alive extreme beach volleyball, Microsoft's Xbox out sold Nintendo's Gamecube, 8,862 to 8,177. Many developers are pulling their support away from the GameCube. Although few announcements have been made, many titles are missing from key developers websites. | ||

sega sports canned the gc. then codemasters did the same thing. now THQ is reducing their gc titles...
"Our GameCube portfolio did not perform up to expectations," THQ Chief Executive Brian Farrell said on a conference call. "In response to this, we have reduced the number of products in development for the GameCube platform." |
