If you live in North America you've probably seen CenDyne's products gracing the shelves of your local electronics store. Like a lot companies these days, CenDyne doesn't actually make the drives they sell. They market them. They have close relationships with software and hardware vendors all around the world which allow them to pick and choose the software and drive technologies they want to use in their kits. This not only allows CenDyne to be one of the first companies to bring new technologies to market, they can do it at an affordable price.
This fall, CenDyne announced their first external DVD-RW drive. Wrapped in a good looking case, CenDyne's new drive is based on Pioneer's fourth generation DVD-RW drive, the DVR-104. CenDyne has done a great job on their external USB 2.0/FireWire DVD-RW. They've taken Pioneer's award winning, fourth generation DVD-RW and put it in one of the best looking external cases we've seen in a long time. With a combination like this, it would be hard to make it better, but CenDyne has done just that by incorporating support for not only USB 2.0, but FireWire too.
