| Well, yeah, but that's no reason to stop giving out evaluation software. Eval versions offer a lot of benefits to IT Professionals (and us geeks who like to play with new toys)... I mean, really, how would you know whether or not Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 would be a good product to recommend to a customer unless you could test out the scenerio yourself... without spending thousands of dollars to do it? Aside from that, I'm sure that Microsoft has a "the bastards are gonna get it illegally anyway" attitude toward the cracker kiddies. It's the same with WPA... it will stop people who don't know enough to go around it, or who are too lazy to... |
