#12 -- "This is slightly off-topic but I guess it's depressing to see how many people back MS without truly realising what they are supporters of."
---------------------------------
I am well aware of what I am supporting as far as MS technological innovation and the many charitable works that result from the money they earn. I know that MS is composed of many talented people who deserve payment for their time and skill. It is not some cold, uncaring corporation that never does anything to benefit the consumer or the community.
Its not like it's that hard for people to find out what they are supporting when they support MS:

"The future computer network should be Democratic(Open standard), and that will never happen aslong as MS or any other company pull all the strings,"
------------------------
Have you not experienced the current network -- HTTP, XML, HTML, TCP/IP, WiFi, Bluetooth (An MS employee is chairman of the board of directors of Bluetooth SIG), etc.? These are all open standards, and MS had a hand in engineering and/or supporting all of them.
---------------------------
"Democracy seems to winning again, as people exercise their rights to choose and gradually move to a open system(Linux) "
--------------------------
And this is one of the many flaws in the logic of OSS advocates. Ever stop to consider that many people exercise their rights to choose Microsoft (or other for profit) software?
OSS advocates (the zealots anyway) are like proselytizers seeking to convert people to another religion. Not once do they actually step back and think, "Maybe these people are happy with their current beliefs," or "Who are we to force our opinions onto others not seeking our influence?"

I echo sodablue on the rest of your post.
