As AIDS continues to be a problem in Australia and destroys families and communities in horrific numbers in Africa and Asia, it has attracted the attention of the world's richest man. This month Bill Gates, the co-founder of the Microsoft empire, was in India donating $100 million to an initiative to combat the spread of AIDS. For the multi-billionaire, it's pocket money. But the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a major player in international philanthropy, donating 45.5 billion dollars to charity in the past five years.

I've taken those vaccines. And you know what, I've never got those diseases! Also, one of your websites promotes making vaccines safer, and is not necessarily against them: "The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is dedicated to the prevention of vaccine injuries and deaths through public education. NVIC provides assistance to parents whose children have suffered vaccine reactions; promotes research to evaluate vaccine safety and effectiveness as well as to identify factors which place individuals at high risk for suffering vaccine reactions; and monitors vaccine research, development, policy-making and legislation. BobStein, so when was that ignore user feature coming? Hopefully sooner than later!
baarod - a big, huge LOL to you! I just wish I could have posted it myself.
kev, you are missing something. Pharmaceutical (sp?) companies aren't the only ones the do medicinal research. One of my closest friends is a researcher working at a government funded lab. I don't think that your argument holds true when government money enters the equation.

I'm a frequent visitor to the site who is really ticked off that you post rediculous conspiracy crap. If you can read, on this thread alone I'm not the only one who shares that opinion. Your posts that have something to do with tech news are welcome. Your drivel that has nothing to do with anything but your twisted agenda are not welcome.

I see just fine, thank you.
Perhaps you didn't notice that this site is called activeWIN. In other words, post comments about WINDOWS. It's a matter of respect, m. You have no respect for this community or you would abide by the will of the community.

lol, bill knows how to lose money in hard times too. His personal wealth is down by nearly 50% of what it was a few years ago.

I'm with baarod. I can pray to talk with God, I don't want to hear so lunatic (mhfm) spouting of about Him. I don't think in the few months of his posts here, he has contributed anything to the community. In true survivor style, I vote him off the island!

mhfm - Hey, could you post that picture of the dead baby? I missed it the first time.
BobSmith - Hey, I had to try. :)
kevinu - I see what you are saying, but I don't know that I care.
The Democrats recently opposed some of the pork the GOP introduced into the Dem's Homeland security plan. One such pork provision was to protect companies creating vaccines from lawsuits. Complete protection, no questions asked... You cannot sue these companies even if they willfully did something not in the best interests of mankind. Now does that make sense?
mhfm seems to be saying it doesn't make sense. But he's also declared all Democrats are evil and going to hell. So I don't know what he really believes, or whether he even cares. mhfm is quite a child, he deserves to be treated as such.
And mooresa56 - The rhetoric the GOP preaches encourages children like this. As long as you continue to support the rhetoric, you support people like mhfm. I can understand why you wish to distance from him, but you need to distance yourself from the divisive rhetoric instead.

F U sodablue. You give the GOP credit for loose cannons like this? And then you tell ME that I should distance myself from "divisive rhetoric"? Pathetic, you are. Pathetic.
I'll be glad when this site sticks to TECHNOLOGY. Everytime we get into religion and politics... I'm sure we lose people. Hell, it makes me not want to come to this site, to see sodablue make crazy statements and lose credibility.
As I said a month ago, when I defended mhfm... EVERYONE has the right to their opinion. But you'll remember at the time, that I scolded him for his approach. JUST AS I TOLD HIM THEN, this site is not the place for such discussions. And that advice goes for you too, blue. Stick to what you know. You and mhfm are doing nothing but harm for your respective beliefs.

After the first two letters of your post, you call blue pathetic, moore? After you learn that profanity (though masked somewhat) doesn't really help you argument but only helps you vent your anger, perhpas you'll be thinking clearly enough to respond thoughtfully.
blue: push, push, push :-)

mooresa56 - I have no sympathy for your outrage. I refuse to play this game.
kevinu - I don't hold much hope for anything positive happening in 2004. :(

mhfm - "I'm also done with Rush Limbaough, because this guy has been supporting this crap all along. "
Well that's encouraging, but I doubt you mean it.

BobSmith, suddenly a man of virtue. Bob, why don't you go on to police academy. You obviously have a deep-seeded desire to enforce rules. Unfortunately, the rules you try to enforce on this board are mostly figments of your own imagination.
Blue, please remember that you addressed ME on this thread. You threw the first punch, and now want to stay out of the fight. I do agree with you on your last point... I also dont think the Demos will do much by 2004.

moore, lol. I just get annoyed with folks abusing the site. Trolls and zealots are beginning to bug me too. My problem with your posts is that you whine about politics, but I don't feel you know what you are talking about and you talk about software and I don't think you know what you are talking about. In short, I don't think you know what you are talking about, but rather think you like to vent. I'm just tired of hearing you.

Again sodablue - "You threw the first punch, and now want to stay out of the fight."
I find it hard to believe that my saying...
"blue, I publicly renounce any allegiance to ANYTHING that mhfm ever said."
that somehow puts you in the victim position.
