| What's up with the mspx file extension? Isn't aspx good enough for them, or does mspx do something that aspx doesn't do? |

Found this on Google (non-official info):
1. "mspx is a custom extention with pretty much tells their servers to run the new .NET website template built by Microsoft. It's an internal thing. Every time the server sees a mspx extention, it runs the template, as simple as that." 2. "you can map any extension as an .aspx file e.g MS has even .mspx file extensions on their site you could for fun use your name as an extension i.e., .yui" (The guy he was responding to was named Yui) In your case, it would be something like .bob :-) |

Change IIS to responsd saying it's Apache running on Linux. Change your .asp mappings to .php, and .aspx mappings to be .jsp. :-) |
