Does Microsoft have a _complete_ development system for the PocketPC that they offer for free ?

Doesn't look like a typo to me. Even the .exe says 2000 not 2002.
PPC2k isn't that old. There are a lot of iPaqs out there that still use it. PPC2k2 has only been out about a year. |

This was not really "released" November 12, 2002. Microsoft is just consolidating all technical (non-marketing) downloads from various parts of their web sites. Eventually, every download will be either at www.microsoft.com/downloads or msdn.microsoft.com/downloads for ease of searching. They can still be linked from elsewhere, but those links will point back to the centralized downloads.
Unfortunately, when they upload to the www.microsoft.com/download site, the files are getting described as if they were new releases. |
