Microsoft signs new food-services agreement | |

Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday it has signed a new food-services agreement with Compass Group North America and Thompson Hospitality Corp. worth $50 million to $70 million per year. Sterling, Va.-based Thompson, one of the nation's largest minority-owned contract food-service companies, and Charlotte, N.C.-based Compass Group will jointly manage food-service operations serving 35,000 Microsoft employees in five states. The contract also calls for Thompson and Compass Group to provide full event management for Microsoft's conference services, including a 143,000-square-foot conference center at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond. | ||

| It's easy with of the free sodas, chocolate milk ... anything you want, as much as you want just a short walk down the hall, I do miss that. Some of the cafeterias were pretty good, especially on campus. |

| The larger cafeterias (when I worked there) had many choices, from pizza, sandwhiches, pastas, and *Noooooooo* salad bars. You can eat very badly, but you can also enjoy your filtered water and have a healthy salad, no different from driving into Bellevue and going to any other resturant .... but this way you don't have to leave campus, and you can bo back and test for another 12 hours =) I'm actually suprised that everyone on the team I was one was pretty fit, active, and no one was over wieght ... must be the mid-day frisbee. |

I have a horrible diet, but I'm about a 32" waist. Last time I checked I'm pretty inline with where I should be for a guy my age, height, etc. As for Twinkies, I've always hated them. I'm not too fond of Coke either. Pizza and chocolate milk? Now that's a different sotry.
18 hrs a day? Yikes! |
