MSN is the latest national broadband provider to jump on the home networking bandwagon, announcing free support and rebate on a bundled MSN-Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless base station service, officials announced Wednesday. The deal doesn't become official until the release of MSN 8, the latest version of Microsoft's Internet service, which is expected to roll out sometime in October or November. | ||

I love it when they surprise everyone like this. I had not read a single article that even suggested this business strategy. |

| Other networking hardware vendors could have similar ease of configuration, etc., if only they had better UPnP support. Even Linux users could benefit from this because Intel has a Linux UPnP SDK. It's just a matter of how willing other vendors are to add this functionality. |
