Well the best way to describe that is to refer it to the pages that talk about it.
http://research.microsoft.com/~dsyme/papers/generics_abs.htm http://research.microsoft.com/projects/clrgen/ What it really does is greatly simplefy Templates and onter features. but those two web sites are a good place to start Langauges like ADA and Eiffle use generics as part of the language so for those langauge to truely be supported in the rontime generics need to be in. As a side C# will get generics as a language feature. (we are working to get Visual Basic to at least support generics also, although the advantage of Generics in VB isn't as great) El |

| Lol. I chose Bill Gates last week when I was testing the User Icon thing for the forum. Then I thought I'd get more creative and switch Bill for, not Longhorn, but the GNU mascot (http://www.gnu.org/). It was kind of a counter joke to daz having sun.com for his homepage. |
