Canesta is aiming to make drumming your fingers on a table a lot more productive. Earlier this year, Canesta announced its patent for electronic perception technology, which uses image sensors to bounce light off surroundings in radar-like fashion, allowing the sensors to "see" and respond to events. Canesta has followed up with the first tangible application of sight-enabling technology: the projection keyboard, which could "dramatically change the utility of mobile devices in our lives," says Canesta VP James Spare.
