Thanks JJ: Microsoft has posted up the French version of the Windows XP service pack 1 release, due to be officially announced sometime later today even if most readers here have already had it for nearly a week. | ||

My copy of the English release is version 1106 and is 133 Megs.
Maybe your 144Meg one is the one with debug code compiled in? A checked release, or whatever it's called. Oh, it should work with both Pro or Home. XP service packs do a lot of upfront investigation, much moreso than any other SP I have ever seen from MS. This post was edited by sodablue on Monday, September 09, 2002 at 14:17. |

| Isn't there supposed to be a diferent version for Corp license and normal license? Or does this one just work no matter what version you have? |
