Is it just more Ad's that are using up the screen?

If your looking for a good alernative and want to be on both AIM and MSN at the same time.
AND if you want a skinable interface so that it looks the way you want it to look(they have over 300 skins) then, use Trillian. Its a lot better interface than it was 2 years ago, and it works. Thats the best way to be on both. http://www.trillian.com |

I've never been a fan of AIM. Just have never cared for the interface. I used Yahoo for a long time, but then all my friends moved to MSN. MSN is slick, though.
Corrected becacuse I accidentally said AOL instead of AIM. This post was edited by ToddAW on Friday, September 06, 2002 at 21:13. |

Trillian's interface is complete and utter CRAP.
I can't believe that anyone would think that it is decent.... guess some people don't realize that there is more to a UI than the eye candy. |

sick of ADVERTISMENTS?
I found this program called DeadAIM and it removes whatever you want from the main AIM window and it adds the feature to show who signs on and off near your systray like MSN Messenger does. | CPUGuy, there are some very simple and eye pleasing trillian skins. maybe you should spend more than 2 minutes before being such a harsh critic. |

Based on what I have read so far I will not be upgrading to 5.0
I am currently using 4.8.2790 I also think that MSN Messenger is the best and whenever possible I try to get my friends to make the switch from AIM. |
