Denmark is one country where Microsoft should get along well with the government. One of its employees there is dating the crown prince, and rumor has it she's being groomed to become the next queen. According to the article, she started working at Microsoft yesterday but she's been dating the prince for 2 years.
And actually, she's working for Navision. Although part of Microsoft's Great Plains division, the entire division is still run like a separate company. Their web site and domain is entirely separate, the distribution mechanisms for their products are different, their training and certification process works entirely differently and is run separately, their licensing and pricing schemes are very different, their support is handled separately from PSS, their consulting services is separate from MCS, even their documentation standards are different. The only thing which has happened since the Microsoft acquisition of Great Plains and Navision is that the Microsoft name got slapped in front of Great Plain's existing logo. Someday, Navision will really seem like part of Microsoft, but it's a loooooong time away. |
