Microsoft is actually looking for feedback on its Windows Media Technologies. You can tell them how they can improve Windows Media! Here is an excerpt from their webpage: Here's your opportunity to impact the future of Windows Media. If you've ever wished for a particular feature, or thought, "I can make that better!" - now's your chance. Just fill out the Wish form below and let us know what rockin' new features you'd like to see in future versions of Windows Media technologies. While we can’t respond back to you directly on every submission, we certainly will review every submission and will do our best to make your 'wish' come true. | ALL VCD Support! It doesn't work with some VCDs i have and I have to use a seperate program to view that VCD. :( |

| My comments that I posted to the Windows Media site: I still use Windows Media Player 6.4 because it is impossible to scale MPEG video playback to take up a decent section of the screen. Either the MPEG stays very small in the middle of the screen, or even if it takes up the whole viewing area, there are too many controls around it. I will not use full screen mode because I want easy access to FF and RW features. Make a view in Media Player that takes up as little screen space for controls as the COMPACT view in MP 6.4. To get me to use MP for audio playback, I would have to have the level of category/artist/album/mood browsing that MusicMatch Jukebox allows me. I love using MP3 tags to easily select the music I want. Speaking of tags, there's a program out there called TAG&RENAME for MP3 tags that is excellent. Features to easily edit MP3 tags would be welcome as well. |
