Should be room for both(Just like books, a tool). The military don't have to choose between weapons and soldiers.

The Militery has a bigger budget (and some of it secret) than any schoolboard. Hell, even a moron could have a kick-ass schoolsystem if they had that kind of money to spend.

That is the point isn't it. The schools should be as important as the military. Therefore, they should get more money. By the way the military still complains about not having enough money and soldiers pay sux(at least for the little guys).
A moron might buy $50000 toilet seats :)

Schools should spend money on what students need. If computers will enable teachers to teach better, then that's what they should buy.
