Microsoft SideShow 1.0.27 Alpha Leaked | |

An alpha build of Microsoft SideShow has managed to get loose on the net (what a surprise). This early build is version 1.0.27. To those who have tried it, it looks old (but then again SideShow was in use nearly a year ago at Microsoft. For those that don't know, Micrsoft SideShow adds a kind of side bar to your OS. Sideshow uses the skinning abilities of XP and also XML/HTML for the tasks. | ||

| This will be really great if it does what the MS doc hints at concerning auctions. Imagine getting up-to-date info on all of the auctions that you're watching, such as the current price and how long until the auction ends. That could be extremely helpful. I usually have 3 or 4 auctions at a time that I'm participating in, and checking both my e-mail and using the MyEbay portion of Ebay are a lot of more work than just glancing over at the side of the screen and getting the whole picture in one eyeful. Now that's a feature that a lot of us could really use. |

| I can't get the weather to work. If I click it and it opens the browser it is fine, but the ticket does not show anything. #13 with it set to not Always be on Top, the Outlook alerts still pop on the screen and then offer a close or go to it box. |
