Office Beta Site Going Live? | |

It appears as if Microsoft's Office beta site, http://officebeta.microsoft.com, is going live. That address usually mirrors office.microsoft.com but has gone dead. While it could just be technical problems, office.microsoft.com loads fine. Could this be the start of the Office 11 beta program? I hope so! | ||

| Wow, that's a nice piece of no news. The writer didn't even reread what he posted (otherwise the sentence wouldn't be incomplete). Plus it's nothing but some suppositions. |

| Ok, let me try to explain this to you. The Office beta usually is an exact mirror of the Office page. Now, the Office page loads just for while the Office beta site is down, leading me to believe that it is transitioning to the real beta site instead of just a mirror (since the beta is supposed to start any time). I'm sorry that I had been so unclear. |

| All well and good, except that isn't the actual Office beta address, and it never was. Close though, but that's not it. BTW, the real site has been offline since shortly after the Office XP beta concluded, and there's no reason for it to be back up yet. |

| rselier - I have taken some surveys from that address so it is used for beta related things. There is reason for it to be back up since the beta is rumored to start next month. It might be nothing, I just thought I would post it. |
