Time: 14:26 EDT/19:26 GMT Source: e-mail & The Big Breakfast Posted By: Byron

This morning George Lucas was on The Big Breakfast (UK's Channel 4 Breakfast Show) - and asked the question "When can we see the trilogy on DVD" to which GL replied "I want to release them when all films have been completed as a six pack" At that point Johnny Vaughn (interviewer) gasped.... hmmm....

  • Star Wars To Released By Christmas
Time: 06:58 EDT/11:58 GMT Source: e-mail Posted By: Byron

Peter over at the DVD File has just received confirmation from Lucasfilm that Star Wars is to be released on DVD before Christmas in region 1. As of yet there are no further details as to which titles or even whether it could be The Phantom Menace on its own. The exact statement from Lucasfilm was "Star Wars will be released on DVD this Christmas." I imagine that the whole trilogy is to be released and fingers crossed a lot of those rumored extras will be included! Hopefully this will snowball into a full statement in the next couple of days, so stay posted to find out exactly what this means for all the other regions.

  • Fallen - Review
Time: 20:55 GMT Source: ActiveDVD Posted By: Alex H

I have posted my review of Fallen. Here is a snippet:

This is a film I hadn't heard of before, but when I saw the trailer for it on another DVD I was quite impressed by the idea behind it. The story is about a spirit that hasn't found rest yet, a fallen angel. Throughout the film the spirit changes from person to person leaving the person with a sense of amnesia about the events that happened. When Denzel Washington had a notorious killer put to death in the gas chamber he thought that it was all over. It was only after he saw similar murders happen with the same clues left behind does he start to wonder.

  • What Dreams May Come - Review
Time: 20:48 GMT Source: ActiveDVD Posted By: Byron

I have posted my review of What Dreams May Come. Here is a snippet:

I have always been a big fan of Robin Williams in both movie and television form and felt he never gets enough credit for his performances (Good Will Hunting being the exception) he manages to come across well in both his comedic and dramatic roles. What Dream May Come is an exceptionally sad movie (Emotionally, not in terms of being rubbish) so get your hankies at the ready as all but 10 minutes of the film will have you on the verge of tears.
