• Network Design and documentation.  Unique SNMP-based AutoDiscovery™ technology detects and documents devices in layer 3 (IP network) and frame relay network environments-plus it captures layer 2 (datalink) physical connections down to the port level.  Enterprise Edition also imports and automatically diagrams directory services from Microsoft Active Directory, Novell Directory Services®, and other LDAP-based sources.

• Software development.  Enterprise Edition lets developers document software projects using multiple object-oriented notations, including all UML 1.2 diagram types. yes">  They can visualize existing application architectures by reverse engineering projects from Microsoft Visual Studio into UML class diagrams.  Enterprise Edition also lets them generate customizable Visual Basic, C++, and Java code skeletons.
