CEOs of Microsoft, Compaq and Reuters to Speak At Financial Services Summit

Industry Leaders to Host Financial Summit Event Developed for Wall Street Market

Michael Capellas, president and CEO of Compaq Computer Corp., Thomas Glocer, chief executive of Reuters America Inc., and Steve Ballmer, president and CEO of Microsoft, will discuss challenges faced by the financial services industry as consumer and business activity continues its move to the Internet in the new millennium at a Financial Summit on April 19. This one-day conference, demonstration and exposition for Wall Street will feature industry leaders discussing the driving forces behind the new technologies that enable global transaction capability, business intelligence analytics, customer relationship management and creation of Web-based business for financial services companies.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to take a hands-on look at the solutions that are available now and those that have the potential to be the critical success factors of future businesses in the financial services market. A Solutions Center will showcase Reuters information solutions running on Microsoft® Windows NT® and Windows® 2000 operating systems optimized for performance on Compaq platforms.

Throughout the day more than 20 independent software vendors developing leading applications will be available to demonstrate their products and speak with attendees one on one in the Solutions Center.
