Adding Special Cascading Items

Well, there are several thing which you can actually add to the Start menu. However, they need a special CLSID. To add control panel to your start menu, add a folder named Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and a cascading control panel will appear in your start menu. These are the list of special items you can add to your start menu:

Control Panel
Dial Up Network
Printers
Recycle Bin
Subscriptions
Font
History
: Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
: Dial Up Net.{992CFFA0-F557-101A-88EC-00DD010CCC48}
: Printers.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
: Recycle Bin.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
: Subscriptions.{F5175861-2688-11d0-9C5E-00AA00A45957}
: Fonts.{BD84B380-8CA2-1069-AB1D-08000948F534}
: History.{FF393560-C2A7-11CF-BFF4-444553540000}

You may change the names in front of the numbers and the names will appear in the start menu. You can also drag them (IE4 installed) to the section between Programs and Run and place it there for easier access. The good things about this is you can access all of them without the pain of going through the desktop.
