Setting Your MTU Packet

It is weird why Windows sets most of it's internal internet settings for Ethernet users. One example is the MTU packet settings. To optimize MTU, you have to go to the registry. But since you have to keep changing the values to experiment which ones are best, we recommend this excellent utility - MTu Speed. It will the tweak the registry and increase the transmission packet size resulting better and faster performance. Try is and you will be surprised by the results.

Full Buffers

Double-click the Modem icon in the Control Panel. Click on the Properties button. At your Modem's properties box, click on the Connection tab. Click on the Port Settings... button. Set the buffers to full.
