Exporting Your Color Scheme

You have just finished a cool looking color scheme. You want to save it to a disk when you realized you must save it save a theme file. But if you don't have Plus! you can't even dream of saving it into a file. Don't worry, open up registry editor and go to HKCU\Control Panel\appearance\schemes\ export it as a registry entry on your desktop. Next, open it with notepad. You will notice that all the schemes are saved instead of just one. So, scroll to the part with the name of you scheme, copy it and delete the rest of the part except for the header information. Paste back your scheme. Now, to use your scheme, double-click it the file and to select it, right-click the desktop, select Properties | Appearance.
