2000: Word 2000
"This
Application Requires Windows Installer" Error
If when you try and run Word 2000. You get the
message "The application requires Windows Installer." it
tends to be for the following reason:
This error message is generated when
you try to run the Office 2000 executables directly off the Setup CDs,
and have not yet installed the programs.
Insert
Office 2000 Setup CD1 into your CD-ROM drive, and run Setup.
