Office 2000: Outlook 2000

Creating A Web Calendar

Outlook 2000 offers some very cool new features one is that you can share your Outlook calendar with other people even if you don't have access to an Exchange server.

Switch to the Calendar folder and choose File, Save As Web Page. Choose the start and end dates you want to publish and specify whether you want to include details about each appointment from the Notes box. Give the calendar a title, specify a file location, and click on Save. Although you can't save directly to a Web server using this technique, you can save the calendar as a file and then publish it to a Web server. The result is a slick, frame-based page that lets you click on individual dates in the month view at left and see details in the frame on the right.
