2000: General
Internet Explorer
5 Installation
If you decided not to install Internet Explorer 5
when you first installed Office 2000 - It can be a nightmare trying to
find out how to get it installed later if you want to use its
features. Follow these instructions to get it install off of the
Office 2000 CD.
To
run it off the CD, slide the Microsoft Office 2000 CD #1 into your
CD-ROM drive. Then go into MY COMPUTER, and right-click the CD-ROM
icon. Click EXPLORE. Make you way to the
\IE5\En folder. Double-click THE IE5SETUP.EXE program file. This fires
up IE5 Setup. Follow the on-screen prompts to install Internet
Explorer 5.
