Internet Explorer: The Must-Use That You Don't
I’m sure you’ve heard it all before… Microsoft has used their monopolistic powers to shove its Internet Explorer browser down this innocent world’s throat. May I say something? What a load of garbage! They only shoved IE (That’d be “Internet Explorer” for all you tech newbies) down our throats because we opened our mouths; and it’s a good thing we did open our mouths because Microsoft has changed the whole flavor of the Internet with just the innovation in their browser. These tech-wanna-be’s out there who complain that people don’t have a choice of which browser they want to use, well, they can just get life. Come on! Just because IE is bundled with Windows doesn’t mean you have to use it. Most people who use it would even download it if they had to. Personally, I love Internet Explorer. I’d go through great troubles to install and set it up if I had to, but I don’t. Sure, I’ve tried Netscape’s attempt at a browser, and it was just that, an attempt. A very poor one, I might add. Let’s just face up to it, Microsoft came into the browser scene, slowly started building up steam, and has now left Netscape in the dust. Not even AOL, who owns Netscape, uses the dilapidated Navigator as the built-in browser for their Internet software. And even now, after AOL announced that they were going to start looking into using Navigator as their browser, the latest beta release of the AOL client software still contains Internet Explorer. Some might be saying that the “browser wars”, as they were called, are about to start back up again, but hey, in my opinion, there never was any “war”. Even if Netscape Navigator had always been the default browser in Windows or in any other software, I’d use Internet Explorer. So, until Netscape, or another challenger, can get their act together, Microsoft clearly has the better product and is obviously the king of the hill… in browser land at least.
