ActiveXBox: Xbox DVD Compatibility List

This is a list of DVD titles (Region 1 only) that will not play/or have a specific playback problem when running on the Xbox. Fixes will be listed next to the title if there is one available, although fixes are likely to come via new drivers put onto newer versions of the Xbox and are unlikely to be available for download or on a CD.

In order to play DVD movies on your Xbox, you must first have the Xbox DVD Remote. Once you have plugged the infra-red device into your system, it will automatically run any DVD that you put into the DVD drive.

Titles listed in Red we cannot confirm as being non-working as test DVD's were not available. If you know of any region 1 titles that won't play or have problems playing on the Xbox - e-mail us.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Disc #1	Won't recognize disc. Disney is currently working with Microsoft on a fix.	Phone Disney - They replace the DVD with a new version.

Legally Blonde	Scenes Freezing.
The Corruptor	Sound problems.
Gladiator	Possible freeze on chapter 13.
Half Baked	Scene skipping.
Atlantis	Possible Menu Problems
Jack Frost 2	Violates Parental Controls even when Parental controls are off.
