This is our first letter to the Editor from user Rob Cannon. Please, everyone, send in your letters! From last week "We are going to start publishing a select number of letters on a weekly "Letters to the Editor" page in which a select number of letters/opinions that people send in will be put into article format for our audience to read. This provides an opportunity for your opinions to be heard. Letters should be no more than five hundred words and should address no more than one topic. Topics should be relavent to the content of this website and should not be outdated. Letters that are concise and well-written have a better chance of being used. In addition, a user should submit a title for his/her letter so that they may be distinguished more clearly. We require that you submit your name and (state or country) for publishing with the ActiveWin username or e-mail address (or website) optional to submit. Anonymous letters will not be submitted. Actually, a lot of people do make ridiculous claims that IE isn't the best browser.
#1: "Microsoft could eventually take over any software running on Windows and that is the problem." Actually that is not the problem that is one of the best things about Microsoft. Frankly, there is no way you are going to get better OS/software integration & compatibility than when both are written by the same company. And does breaking up that company help consumers? Not at all! Because then we won't get those benefits at all! You said it yourself, "Of course they are eventually going to create the best product." That's what we want! There's nothing better than the best product! |

| Is this for real? what MUST I USE? WHY AM I NOT USING IT? WHAT DOES THE COMPETITION OFFER in terms of PROS and CONS? This is complete twaddle. Guys, if you want this section to be a success--wait until you have received several letters of some quality and then choose the strongest letter. This is pure silliness that amounts to the typical one paragraph posting on the site--by no means close to an editorial letter, by no means worthy of its own format, by no means worthy of posting. |
