New Intel Chipset 2.90.006 Drivers | |

Intel has just released a new set of drivers for its whole chipset range. This new release 2.90.006 works under Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000, XP (only in beta 1 stage) and adds support for the latest i850/i860 chipsets. These drivers are needed for the proper functionning of the core PCI & ISAPNP services, AGP support, IDE ATA33/66/100 storage support, USB support, identification of Intel chipset components in the windows device manager. | Hmm, why'd they bother releasing for Win2K. I tried installing and it said that this OS has the chipset INFs already. Oh well |

Oh yeah, and also I decided not to download drivers that could potentially damage my motherboard from some site I've never heard of when there's no mention of new drivers on Intel's site. I went to Intel's site and it appears they haven't posted the new drivers. I think I'll just wait. WTH is "clubic.com" anyhow? |
